HOMOSEXUALITY AND THE BIBLE

This article is full of deliberate and intentional lies and deceitfulness. But then, that is the way evil is when it attempts to defend itself. Evil is not concerned with the truth or what is right and what is wrong. It is only concerned with itself and how many people it can deceive and turn away from God and His Truth as taught in the Holy Bible. They will use any and all means possible to get their way and are more than willing to attack anyone who questions or criticizes what they do or say. They believe that they are fully justified in their attacks against those who oppose them. That is because they have chosen to follow after Satan and his evil ways and reject God, the Bible, and righteousness.

For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
Romans 1:26-27

The amazing thing is, evil which rejects the Bible and its teaching, will often use the Bible to try and justify itself. It will take Scriptures out of context, use partial scripture, and even create Scripture that is not there, and then claim that the Bible supports it.

This is exactly what the above article is about. The homosexual community, in yet another of their futile and meaningless attempts to justify itself would have us believe that the Bible does not condemn homosexuality. They would have us believe that the Bible actually supports it. They know what the Bible really says and simply do not care. The Bible never has nor will it ever support this or any other sin or evil. They will tell us that the word “homosexuality” only entered into the Bible in the modern translations and that the older translations have never even touched the subject. This is yet another outright lie on their part. They seem to think that playing a word game will justify their rebellion against God. Even though older translations may not use the words “homosexual” or “homosexuality,” the wording used in the Scriptures has the exact same meaning and intentions. The Bible, in both the Old and New Testaments, makes it very clearly and has no need for anyone to explain its meanings. Homosexuality is evil and nothing and no one can ever change that fact!

Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
Leviticus 18:22

If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
Leviticus 20:13

Once these facts are brought out, then those who hate the Bible once again try using it to justify themselves and their actions. They will use the Scriptures pertaining to judging others, and of course they take them out of context as they do with all other Scriptures they use in their defense. The ones they most often quote deal with unrighteous and hypocritical judgment. When we denounce sin and expose it for it for the evil it really is, and announce what God has said about it, we are not judging. We are merely God’s tool in sharing with the world what God has already said and judged pertaining to it.

Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
Matthew 7:1-2

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
Luke 6:37

Now there are times when we, as Christians, will need to judge. The Bible makes it very clear that when we do so, we must judge righteously.

Open thy mouth, judge righteously…
Proverbs 31:9

Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment
Leviticus 19:15

Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him…
Luke 17:3

As Christians we are to always stand up against evil and speak out when necessary. For if we do not do so, then we are not living up to our responsibility as Christians who have been Born-Again and washed clean in the Blood of Christ!

Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
Psalm 94:16

There are many Christians as well as Christian Churches and organizations that will not do so for a variety of reasons. The main reason is that they are afraid that if the take a public stand for God and against sin, then those who have rejected god and living in sin will come after them. They are worried about being harassed, being called names, slanders, attacked both verbally and physically, Etc. My response to them is, “SO WHAT!” We are not here to please the world or those who reject God. We are here to do God’s Will and please Him! By living for Christ and teaching what He has taught us, Christ said that the world would reject us and persecute us.

If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
John 15:18-19

When Christ died upon the cross for our sins, He took upon Himself all of the sins of the world. He suffered the penalty and punishment for us all, even though none of us deserved Him doing so for us. When we are persecuted and suffer for being a Christian and for doing God’s will, then we should give thanks to God, for we are taking upon ourselves just a very small part of what Christ took upon Himself for us!

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
2 Timothy 3:12

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
1 Peter 4:12-19

In the end, there is no justifying evil or even parts of it. Evil is as evil does. You do not reject the Bible and then turn around and try to use it to justify your rebellion against God. All you are doing is adding more evil upon evil and committing more blasphemy in the eyes of God. And one day those who are guilty of this evil will be standing face to face before God as He asks them, “Why?”
