HE IS TOO FAITHFUL TO FAIL YOU

From a sermon given on 20 July 2025:

....Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
(Daniel 3:24-25)

If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
(2 Timoth 2:13)

God's faithfulness is not situational - it is foundational. His character does not change with circumstances, emotions, or outcomes. He remains true, even when our strength falters. Faith is not just about what we hope for, but who we trust in: a God who has never broken a promise and never abandoned His people.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stood firm, not because they knew what God would do, but because they knew who God was. Even when threatened with death, they declared, "Even if He does not deliver us...." (Daniel 3:18). That wasn't fear - it was faith in His unshakable nature. And in the fire, God did not fail them. He joined them. His presence in their pain proved that He is too faithful to fail.

The faithfulness of God is not an occasional act - it is His consistent nature. He is too faithful to let us down. From Genesis to Revelation, God has proven that He keeps His word. He preserved Noah, remembered Hannah, restored Job, and empowered Paul. His promises are not wishful hopes but guaranteed truths. Even when we don't understand His timing or methods, His faithfulness remains the anchor of our trust.

Further Readings:

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
(Numbers 23:19)

O Lord God of hosts, who is a strong Lord like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?
(Psalm 89:8)

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
(Hebrews 13:5-6)
